Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) is a technology platform that allows information to be transmitted through a GSM network using a basic phone with SMS capability. The USSD service allows customers without a smartphone or data/internet connection to use mobile banking through *944#, thus promoting financial inclusivity.

Enrolment Process:

• 1. Dial *944#
• 2. Select ‘1’ to register
• 3. Enter your account number (6 digits)
• 4. Enter your date of birth (DD-MMM-YYYY)
• 5. Choose a preferred user PIN which will be used for transactions.
